Literally the opening scene not only sets up the world and character of K but it literally opens up the story immediately. From then on this narrative never deviates from what was made important in the opening scene. So much to love and say about this film but just something not many people mention. It is so long boring, loud. made no sense. I fell asleep like 3 different times. Apparently some reproduced a robot and then the robot died ? But with no uterus? Also Ryan gosling not his best work and I'm going to pray for his face after all the kicks to the face also he does. Gave no explanation to how they made a baby with a human, robot. Do not recommend watch the quiet place instead. A good story that could easily be told in 1:30h, which is my personal concentration span for this kind of movie.
It's being dragged out to boredom (well in the range of comparison to "The Hobbit. shudders* with a lot of, what appears as slow motion scenes with the main character just staring, thinking and ogling. Trying to capture bare thoughts on camera without making it look like paint drying is very hard.
